Ruffle Rossette is Pakistan's first Lolita and coquette fashion house, started in 2023 by designer Mahnoor Khalid with leftover fabric and her mother's sewing machine. Every piece is cut after you order it, in your size.

My name is Mahnoor Khalid. I'm a 24-year-old fashion designer from Pakistan, and I love fashion most when it looks like the world I imagine, and every piece I make is a little bit of that world and a little bit of me.

I became a designer because I couldn't find what I wanted to wear. I knew exactly how I wanted to dress, and those clothes didn't exist. So I decided to make them myself, and to make it my career.

I graduated from fashion school in the summer of 2023 and started Ruffle Rossette straight away, with the fabric left over from my school projects and my mother's sewing machine.

The best part of my job is bringing other girls' ideas to life. Girls from all over the world send me the outfit they have been dreaming of, and I get to make it to their measurements.

There is so much more I imagine than what you see here, and I want to make all of it. Stay with me while I build this fashion world for all my beautiful girlies around the world.

What we believe

Nothing is sewn until someone asks for it. Every size costs the same. Every scrap becomes a bow. And every dress is made for one girl and the world she imagines.

Our story in four chapters

  1. The idea

    The wardrobe that did not exist

    Mahnoor knew exactly how she wanted to dress, and nobody made it. So she decided to design the clothes herself, and to make it her career.

  2. Summer 2023

    Leftover fabric and her mother's sewing machine

    After graduating from fashion school, she started Ruffle Rossette with the fabric left over from her school projects and her mother's sewing machine.

  3. Every order since

    Dreams, made to measure

    Girls from all over the world send the outfit they have been dreaming of. Each one is cut to their measurements in Lahore and shipped to their door.

  4. What comes next

    A whole fashion world

Wearable art for the world you imagine

Ruffle Rossette is a slow fashion brand for individuality and imagination. Each piece is made to order and tailored to the girl who will wear it.

The designs start from the dream worlds girls carry around with them, and the details are where they come alive: ruffles, lace, bows and small hand-finished touches that make a dress feel like wearable art. The mood is dreamy, elegant and softly feminine, with a little innocence. It is soft, but it is never shy. Each piece makes a statement about the person wearing it, and we want you to look and feel powerful in it.

At Ruffle Rossette, I don't make clothes. I bring fantasies to life.

  1. Made after you order

    Fast fashion decides how many dresses to make before anyone has bought one, then discounts or destroys whatever does not sell. We cut a dress only after it has been ordered, so the number we make is the number people asked for.

  2. Every size, one price

    Every made-to-order design comes in the full standard range at one price. If you sit between sizes, or beyond them, we cut from your own measurements instead, still at the same price. Your size is never a surcharge.
