Ethically made · handmade in Pakistan

Ethically made, sewn by hand in Lahore.

Every Ruffle Rossette piece is cut and sewn in our own studio in Lahore. Nobody is exploited to make it, no child works on it, and you can ask us where the fabric came from and how far along your dress is at any point.

No child labour. No exploitative work.

Child labour and exploitative working conditions are still common in parts of the garment trade in Pakistan. We say it plainly because you should be able to ask: none of it happens at Ruffle Rossette.

Your dress is cut and sewn by hand in our own studio, one piece at a time. We know who made it and how, and we are happy to tell you.

Ask us anything about your dress

We are open with our clients about the materials we use and the whole journey a piece takes before it reaches them. Almost everything we make starts as upcycled fabric, and we will tell you where the fabric for your piece came from.

Ask before you order, or at any point while it is being made. A person from the studio answers.

How we use upcycled fabric

questions we getAnswered by the studio

  • Where did this fabric come from?
  • Is it upcycled or new?
  • Has my dress been cut yet?
  • Can I see it being sewn?

Ask away, we will tell you.

The production journey

  1. We read it back

Your measurements, fabric and colour are checked by a person and confirmed with you. If anything looks unusual, we message you before the fabric meets the scissors.

  2. We cut one

Your pattern is drafted from your numbers and cut once, for you. Nothing in the studio is sewn in bulk and nothing waits on a rail for a buyer.

  3. We show you

Progress photos at cutting, sewing and finishing, then it ships to you anywhere in the world, about 3–4 weeks after you confirm.
